Three newsletters instead of one
Until today there was one Kaperkunde newsletter, and it carried everything: company news, Plek.je hosting updates, and the occasional piece about how I actually build software. That worked with a handful of posts. It stops working once the audiences pull apart, because the person who wants to know a Plek.je feature changed is rarely the person who wants a thousand words on agentic code review.
So there are now three, and you pick which ones land in your inbox.
Kaperkunde will contain just company news: new services, products, and announcements from the practice. Infrequent by design. Moving the other posts to the new newsletters.
Plek.je is for anyone with a site on plek.je, Kaperkunde's EU-hosted Ghost service. Feature changes, important updates, and anything that affects how your site runs. If you don't host with me, you can safely skip it.
AI / Software Engineering is the technical one. Written for other engineers: AI-assisted development, agentic workflows, architecture, and the craft of shipping software. No sales pitch in it, and none planned.
If you already subscribe, nothing has changed. You're on the Kaperkunde list only. I haven't added anyone to the new lists, and I won't. Opting people in to things they didn't ask for is exactly how newsletters end up in spam folders.
If you'd like one or both of the new ones, it takes about ten seconds: open your subscription settings, sign in with your email, and tick the ones you want. You'll find the same link at the bottom of every email I send, so you can change your mind later.
New subscribers get all three by default and can trim from there.
All three are free.
